A: Cahill Edit is a shop located at 1726 Glenview Rd, in Glenview IL. We offer a curated selection of home goods, stationery, permanent jewelry welding, and in-store embossing and engraving on specific leather, brass, and silver items. Personalization is fast and can be done while you browse.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We’re at 1726 Glenview Rd, Glenview, IL 60025. We’re on the north side of Glenview Rd, just east of Northshore Medical Supply.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Free street parking spots line the north side of Glenview Rd in front of our shop. There are also 5 additional parking spaces behind our building. Glenview has also recently added a dedicated 60-stall parking lot at 1755 River Drive.
Q: What are your hours?
A: We’re open from 10am to 5pm Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Q: What kinds of products do you carry?
A: We’re committed to keeping our inventory fresh, rotating multiple artisans to give them the spotlight while prioritizing what resonates with our customers.
Hosting pieces include platters, trays, bowls, and serving utensils.
Beautiful objects meant to use, gift and display include candles + lighters, blankets, decorative bowls + trays, curiosities.
Our stationery is thoughtfully chosen to include a diverse group of brands. You’ll find humorous, whimsical, and art-forward greeting cards and stationery sets for all occasions. We’ve carefully selected high quality journals and pens.
Choose from our curated selection of 14 carat gold, gold filled, and sterling silver chains and bangles to have a bracelet, anklet, necklace, or hand chain welded. You can also incorporate a charm from a variety of great options.
If you’re coming in for permanent jewelry with someone else, we recommend making an appointment. You can book time via the permanent jewelry tab on our website. If you come into the shop to browse with friends and decide you all want permanent jewelry, but didn’t make appointments, no worries-we’ll absolutely accommodate you.
Q: Do you carry local artists or makers?
A: We want to feature a selection of pieces created by artists and makers within our community, thoughtfully integrated throughout the shop. If you're interested in your work being considered, send an email to customerservice@cahilledit.com.
Q: What can be engraved?
A: We offer in-store engraving for brass, gold plated, and silver objects. When engraved, they make a beautiful gift, meant to be displayed.
Q: How long does engraving take?
A: Engraving is completed in just a few minutes while you shop. Long line and can’t wait? We’ll get your sleeve done by the end of the same business day and will deliver to you, free of charge.
Q: What can I engrave?
A: Initials, names, and simple dates are available in two fonts. We can engrave up to 8 characters (in number or text format.)
Q: Do you offer private events?
A: Yes. We offer small group events centered around permanent jewelry, leather embossing, and private shopping. We would love to host you for wedding events, birthday parties, book clubs, fundraising events, or just a lovely night out with your friends or family. Contact us for more details.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: We don’t think decisions should be permanent. You have 14 days from date of purchase to return any unopened and unused products for a full refund. We can return funds to the card you used to purchase or offer a store credit. Cash refunds not accepted.
If you're returning a gift, just present the gift receipt and we’ll apply the cost of the item(s) as store credit which you have 12 months to use.

A: Permanent jewelry and personalized items are final sale.
